This is a good and informative book that describes the way the earth turns, how long it takes for the earth to spin around, why it becomes night, etc. I would use this book for a 3-4 grade science lesson. I would read this book to my students before starting a lesson on the earth. I could use this book to focus on many different things about the earth. What makes days shorter at a certain part of year and longer at the other? How does the earth spin, where does our light on earth come from, how...more
