A sweet book to read to children who are kindergarten age or above. About to become a mother, the narrator thinks how perfect life will be with a new baby. Although baby did not behave as she expected, mama was glad that she was here because baby showed her how beautiful 3:00 AM can be. I loved this story about a mom's anticipation of each new phase of her child's life. Of course it was going to be perfect. And it wasn't. But it was still absolutely wonderful. Always. And that's the way it is...

This book would be perfect for new or soon to be new parents. It presents a light hearted view of what the dream of children is compared to the reality.

This is a sweet book. This shows that even though everything did not go as planned, the child is still loved and wanted.

Good for a preschooler/kindergartener worrying about growing up. About to enter kindergarten, I found that didn't really need the message.
I loved reading this book and it was a great way for a mother to reflect the stages of raising her daughter.
