I really appreciated that the authors didn't treat conservative Christians as a stereotype . . . they really got into the nitty-gritty of what they believe, the differences between different denominations and social groups . . . I read this book because I come from a conservative background but am now liberal and I was trying to get some insight into what goes on in the minds of those who stay in those kinds of churches. Good information here, although sometimes plodding when discussing results ...more
