We listened to a few audio books last night and this was one of them. I wasn't very impressed and while Julia liked it I could tell it's not something she'd pick up again. I doubt she'll even want to read any Amber Brown books. I don't want to imply that it's a bad book - it's not - it's just not a favorite of ours.
We listened to a few books yesterday evening besides this including Chester's Way by a favorite author of ours, Kevin Henkes, our very first Madeline book - Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans...more

My daughter really liked this book. It was a bit long for a bedtime story, but very cute and she thought it was very funny. The pictures are very good too.
