This was a cute, short story.

Nate's been in love with Professor Aidan Sheridan, his adviser, since he's become the man's teaching assistant two years ago. At the end of the term, Nate decides to make his feelings known especially since he thinks Aidan feels the same. While Aidan does have feelings for Nate, he doesn't like the idea of crossing the teacher/student line but after Nate gets a taste of the passion Aidan has, he'll do anything to convince Aidan that they could have something permane

I think two-and-a half years is a freakishly long time to burn in secret for someone you're around every day.

Having said that... it makes the, um, coming together that much sweeter. The prof and his grad student show some good sense and clearly know how to knock boots.

I enjoyed this fun, sweet, well-done quicky.

- One of my favorite fantasies. As such, I found the characters’ emotional attachment very believable.
- One of the sweetest stories I’ve read. The characters have been pining for each other for a very long time, so when they finally come together, it’s magical. Really. Sweet, beautiful, loving. I read a one-page section that occurs in the aftermath of the first sex scene three times in a row before I could m

This was a nice story. It wasn't wonderful or inspiring, but it was fine.

It always bothers me when characters' emotional developement happens too fast, and it felt like Nate and Aidan were going from zero to heartbroken in 1.2 seconds. However the characters were likeable and the book was a nice little distraction in a busy day

It's a sweet story that explores that "old" issue about teacher/student relationship, even if the student is a PhD candidate. There is nothing new introduced in this theme, though -- although I enjoy Nate's determination to win over Adrian. It's a problem-solved in the end (but the sex is pretty hot)

HEA...which I LOVE..and a really fast read. Short story so there's not really enough depth to the whole situation and the characters remain a bit two diminsional until the end.... BUT still a good story and well written.

I've liked all the stories by this author that I have read so far, and this one was no exception.
But, it felt rushed and Aidan's reticence, while understandable, really started to annoy me. I would have loved to have another chapter or two to see all of Aidan's issues put to rest.

I usually really love ML Rhodes' stories - this one is ok. There are some interesting plot twists packed into a very short space. Entertaining enough that I can recommend it to any fan of Rhodes' work - short enough that you won't feel like you wasted too much of your time

I'm an opinionated chick with a decent sense of humor and a vocabulary that's way too smutty for someone who grew up as a "good" girl. I write books for a living...more specifically, gay male romance stories. I'm passionate about gay romance! I love sweet, steamy, emotional stories about gay men meeting, falling in love, and finding happily-ever-afters. I love to read them and I love to write ...more
