My four-year-old brought this book to me while we were at the library and asked me to read it to her. I pulled her up on my lap and we began reading. I expected another over-the-top story about a dragon and a child but this was better. My eight and six-year-old were pulled away from their books to listen to me read and to look at the illustrations. A good recommendation for a book.

It begins with a child who is not sleepy and his grandpa who admits he isn't either. They sit together in the rockin
My grandson and I utterly love this book. And why not? It's about the imaginary adventures of a grandfather and his grandson, and it involves bicycles and a fire-breathing dragon. Caves! Jungles! A fire truck with a fire hose! Absolute heaven!
very nice illustrations; the dragon may be imaginary, but it looks real enough
cute book ... great for use when talking about imagination.
