This is one of my new favorites! I found it at a little bookshop in New York City, right across the street from Magnolia Bakery (famous for their cupcakes). This little book - a true story - is charming and inspiring. I might have to read it every Christmas!

Got in a local bookstore in the village (where the story took place); could've been told in a paragraph, but it was interesting to step into the shoes of real tree sellers in NYC.

This is a wonderful book to remind you that material things don't make a good Christmas, but good friends and family do. I greatly enjoyed this and hope to make it an annual read.

I would give this book 3.5 stars. Different then I thought, but still liked it. I thought it would be stories of experiences of selling the trees and more about people they came in contact with, customers of the stand. Instead it was more of a story of their family, especially Billy and daughter Ellie and the experience they had one December. How their relationship grew. Quick read, nice story.
