One thing that really recommends a book to me is some relation to fairy tales. Ludwig Revolution is a manga which has many such retellings, such as Snow White, Cinderella, The Sleeping Beauty, Hansel & Gretel and Red Riding Hood. In the past, I had read another manga, called Grimms Manga, attempting the same thing but I was rather disappointed. Luckily, this wasn't the case here, although I have to admit that I didn't expect what I

I honestly didn’t like this. I just feel extremely disappointed. Kaori Yuki seems to have this problem where she starts a series with so much potential, only for it to fall apart in the latter volumes. She needs to just stick to macabre/horror anthology type of mangas because she excels when it comes to short stories vs. long drawn out plotlines. For a while, I couldn’t quite pinpoint what it was that was bothering me about this manga, but the author’s note at the very end basically laid it all ...more

Ludwig Fantasia dibuka dengan cerita The Little Mermaid - yang mana, nggak angst sama sekali.

There was kind of character overload at the end, wasn't there? Or was that just me? I felt that way about Angel Sanctuary, too, though. Anyway, although this series was probably better in the beginning, if the author decided to write more volumes, I would definitely check them out. I believe she could successfully revive it. She seems passionate enough about it.

This is a great conclusion to the story. There are still fairytale elements but we learn a lot about Lui, Julius and Dorothea too.
