I haven't hunted in years, but I don't hold any anti-hunting views...though I do prefer that all the animal be used. Still i don't see any evidence that smashing a cow in the head is in anyway more kind than a well placed bullet...still to each their own and if you you don't like the idea I understand.

Recipes for wild game are difficult to find and in most of them game is treated in the same manner as domesticated meats. Game should be cooked for shorter periods of time at lower temeratures. Seasonings should enhance the flavor of the game not overpower it. There were some interesting recipes here but the authors failed to address cooking times and temperatures.
