A surprisingly readable young adult book about horses on a Reservation, featuring a really cool Native American protagonist. This story contains a lot of great characters, quiet pride and struggle, and an overwhelming goodness expressed in the kids of the story. Wish these short-but-strong novels were still a part of YA lit these days.

This was quite a sweet little children's story, involving the theft of some valuable horses and the Indian legend of a ghostly horse. A bit obvious for adult readers, but I still thought it was good.
