Overall, this book lacked scriptural basis for the ideas and suggestions presented. There are many other books that would be more beneficial to read and more Bible-centered. For a more detailed look at each chapter, please continue reading.

The book had really cool stories that were relatable. However, I felt that this was supposed to be a book about enabling single women and I did not find it to represent the single life as much as I wanted it to. Luci is an amazing person and you can tell her generous and honest reading. I also believe this was her first book, so kudos!

An interesting book. Miss Swindoll writes about why she has chosen to remain single, and how to make the most of being single. How to use time wisely, how to not have self-pity, how to plan for the future, and how to enjoy where you are in life are among the topics that she discusses with her readers.

Been a while since I read this, but remember really enjoying and being challenged to live my life, in whatever season I'm in, beyond what's expected. I respect the Author and the choices she's made, and am challenged to learn more from her!
