"They Never Approve" by Se
This has one of my favorite Mercedes Lackey short stories in it: "Satanic, Versus;" featuring Diana Tregarde (a great pity she stopped writing her) and is a hysterical account of happenings at the Romance Writers of the World Halloween party.

I do wish MZB had included the dates (even if just the year) the stories originally had been published, however.
A really quite wonderful collection of stories, ranging from the highly entertaining to the actually brilliant. Great read.
