‘Little Bear Lost’ by Jane Hissey is an adorable little story, beautifully illustrating a teddy bear’s picnic with a hiccup!

A kind friend gave this book to my son when he was very small. I read it aloud to both children many many times. In a rather messy toy room, the animals play a game of Hide and Seek. Little Bear is missing and a search begins. Accidentally found sleeping in the picnic basket, the toys have their own picnic.

The pictures appear to be almost like photos. The author has the ability to make the animals seem real. Cut story for young readers.
