A realistic story about a boy's adjustment to his new baby sister.

I read the English version--Goodreads did not have an image available for it.

Astrid Lindgren is a master at conveying childhood emotions and describing situations without sparing any details that gloss over the depth of feeling behind them. Perfect, because the colors are bright, mom nurses (discreetly), dad is happy, and, best of all, the little sister gets to learn how to be a big sister, too. Lots of love and adorable-ness. Note, though, that when big brother is naughty, the corner he must stand in doesn't look very cheery... well-done!
My sister in law (a teacher) gave us this book when we were expecting our second child. It is very cute and true to life. My kids loved it.
