Beechen takes interesting characters who were very well used in 52 and makes them entirely dull thanks to an over-stretched adventure that should have been half the length.

I'm not normally a reader of this storyline but it was super cheap on a clearance sale. Therefore I probably won't rate it as high as someone who is invested in the storylines. I enjoyed the story overall, but the jealous wife and her heroic Animal Man husband's marital squabbles were soap opera-ish at best. Adam Strange's sudden replacement as Raan's protector was really odd also. Felt way too forced. Hmmm after that actually the story really gets 2.5 stars at the most

I liked this storyline in 52. this book just isn't very good. Bad art, bad story and overall just.. Not good. Oh well. Starfire remains the most inconsistently written Interesting character in the DC universe.

A group of unappreciated DC characters become united in a quest to make a book that won't be a waste of your time. Sounds bad but it actually worked on it's own level.
