This non-fiction book describes types of waste, where it goes, and what we can do to reduce it.

The colour photos are outdated but accompany the text well. The text, divided into sections and subtitled paragraphs, uses precise vocabulary but is easy to understand.

This is a great non-fiction resource for early intermediate students (Grade 4/5).
