This was a wonderful read. The way Lacey describes the life of Henry VIII, he brought it to life. If you are interested in history, I highly suggest this book. There are also wonderful pictures in this book that also bring an image to some familiar faces. Lacey didn't polish Henry VIII as a big, mean tyrant, but shined an appropriate light on Henry's youth, and the sports he was involved in. His favorite being hunting. Please read!

A good read about Henry VIII but particularly interesting because of all the well explained illustrations and portraits. These visual aids certainly help to bring the most influential people in Henry VIII's reign as well as Henry and his wives to life.

Biogrophy with some interesting paintings/illustrations included; not very rigorous but a good start for someone without much background on the subject.
