First let me make one thing clear - I LOVE Kate West and her books, so if you're reading this review, then be forewarned; it may contain a lit-tle bias!
I though The Real Witches' Kitchen was not only a useful and user friendly guide for not only food, but bath and body cleansing produce and other concepts dear the green witches hearth. It had plenty of recipes, ideas and tips, but also just the right balance of information and history to make it informative yet not dull!
I love to get down and d More...

As a Wiccan for near 8 years now i find this totally invaluable to my magical workings as well as that i find the recipes totally divine though its definitely useful for anybody who enjoys something new or is just looking to make soap (ive tried a good few and they are always used up in a flash) if youre a witch then get it, if youre just interested then get it!
If you arent interested then i dunno why you just read this! :P

I bought this book years ago because it had alot of receipes for aromatherapy soap and i was really into soap making at the time. As far as all the spells and stuff, not my thing. But it has really great natural bath receipes in it.

I liked this book, it has a lot in that I will use. Kate west has a lovely way of writing, and she keeps things simple and to the point.

A very cute book with a good selection of information on Kitchen Witchery with a Wiccan flare, complete with useful recipes and spells.

good recipes for household things in here - all natural and using a lot of essential oils. Definitely a good manual to have around.

A great, resourceful read!
I was expecting more of a cookbook type read, but it was actually a general guide to using Witchcraft and Pagan traditions in the kitchen, and was more of a how-to crafty book that included recipes. I found one recipe for Bara Brith (a tradition Welsh fruit bread/cake that I was brought up on) that got me really excited! I also use this book as a guide when I make many of my oils, candles, incense, teas etc. A great general guide, but not a recipe book.

I've been reading in this book of & on for several years. So it's hard to actually write a review about it. But I did find it very informative and interesting. It's very useful, and everything is explained well enough for the reader to understand. I'd definitely recommend it to others.

A super book. I love Kate West and this book is so helpful and useful. I use it every Halloween for my Samhain celebrations especially, but also throughout the wheel of the year when I feel the need to honour the goddess and the god.
