This book is about making sets and subsets out of different objects. This book is good about explaining what is a set and subset in terms a child could understand.
Use this book when learning about money. You could talk about all the money is a set but you can divide it in subsets of nickels, dimes, pennies, and quarters.

This book is good for a math lesson on sets. It has examples of multiple types of sets, has examples of different sets kids may see in everyday life. It has a glossary of terms in the back and also has helpful web sites to future explore. Can be used as a workstation or as an introduction to sets.

“I’ve always loved a good story. There’s something magical that happens when you open a book and are suddenly whisked off to a different place or another time where just about anything can happen … Stories make imagination real”

I was born and raised in a small suburban town in New Jersey, the youngest of three children. It was always a thrill when we had “library day” in elementary school and I go
