Excellent comprehensive manual for iPhone. The very detailed step-by-step breakdowns with full-color screen caps definitely make this a book I recommend for those looking for an iPhone manual (especially for the "senior" crowd). If you already know how iOS works (had a Touch, etc previously) the detail might be a bit much but I found tons of useful information.
My iPhone covers 3G, 3GS, and OS 3.1. This resource is designed as a detailed manual for those who already have an iPhone and need help setting up and tailoring the systems to their own needs. Essentially, it is the book that should have come with the box. More than this, however, I found that this book also provided important information that people should probably know before they purchase an iPhone.

Excellent and comprehensive step by step manual. I just purchased the new Sixth Edition which covers the latest iPhones and iOS 6. I recommend it even if you know what your phone well you'll find this helpful. You can find them cheap at SAMs Club.
Read the 5th edition just now. Some useful info but was lacking in detail. Hoped for more.

I learned a lot about my little gadget. Configuring notifications, adjusting volume without unlocking, making your own ringtones (who would paid $1.29 after reading the simple fix) and many other handy insights. I would recommend it.
I think this would be a great book for someone with an iPhone. Unfortunately I don't have one, but looking to update my Windows Mobile phone to something that has iPhone functionality and this book goes into great detail about the iPhone and it's functions and would be very great resource to use if you have an iPhone as it has pictorial, detailed steps to do anything you would want to do on your iPhone. Would recommend.
I usually purchase For Dummies books for reference material however this one was very going.
Didn't learn much. If you never had any kind of smart phone, this will be quite helpful.

Mine is the 5th edition. I'm finding the book helpful. Learned a couple of things straight off that I've now used at least 3-4 times a day!
