Besides the fact that the author has no knowledge of physics (black holes have extreme high gravitation instead of none, centrifugal force occurs only in the rotating object itself, etc.), the story was more interesting than I thought.

I never thought of myself as liking futuristic fiction but when it is intertwined with an engaging story I found myself really enjoying it. The book is set in the future but does revert back to the past. The character development is rich with underlying issues that make the story even better. I loved the interaction Jordan had with Kale; rarely are lesbians allowed to have a male best friend that is straight and not gay.
