If Books 1 and 2 were combined into one book, I would give it 3 stars. It’s an interesting vampire world.

This continues the story from Book 1 “Forbidden: The Claim.” Ren and Violet fell in love during Book 1. In Book 2 Ren completed his work moving and hiding financial assets and creating a false identity for himself. He then moves to San Diego to be with Violet. While there, they meet another couple, Christian and Isabelle. Christian is a vampire who is under the spell of a succubus

This was a fluffy and enjoyable piece of erotica. The 2nd book in a series (I did not read the first) involves Byron and Violet now that they are married. He is a nearly 400 year old vampire and used to manage all the assets for the vampire clan. But he wanted Violet more than he wanted his job. The funniest part of the book was that vampires are supposed to be secret and yet everyone who meets Byron knows what he is and is totally cool with it. Except Byron who must have felt like he was wearin ...more
This is a book different than what I'm used to. It was done in the first person, male voice. This was a pleasant twist for me and was the second book in the series. The character development was limited, ( which might have been covered with the first book,) but the characters were so likable with intense emotions. I would enjoy reading more works in the future. If you see it don't pass it by.
