The Decorated Frame: 45 Picture-Perfect Projects

2.33 of 5 stars 2.33  ·  rating details  ·  3 ratings  ·  1 review
The 45 projects here use paint, fabric, wire, beads, paper, costume jewelry, and other found objects, and range from classic and elegant to wild and witty. Try an assemblage of driftwood and seashells, a glued ceramic shard mosaic, and (for the kids) an imaginative border on a painted blackboard frame surface.

Junks are not always junks
Of the 45 designs, I especially love Jean Moore's 'Salvage Style' (even the writer seemed having hard time refraining from showing it up thrice, twice page-size).

Not being an artist or someone with a knack of craft myself, I can't say much about the technical aspects. Still, I believe this no-nonsense-frequently-dealing-with-wrecks doable guide could be a revealing wake-up call for those who do have 'that' in them, or even a great student project.
