Blood Sisters is a fairly drawn out and contrived novel that plays out like a bad movie of the week from the 70's. The kind that were packed with has-been, fading, starlets and an equal amount of plot holes and directionless subplots. In a way I found this novel an ahead of its time combination of things that would be done to better effect in the late 90's and early 2000's in films like I Know What You Did Last Summer, Jawbreaker and Mean Girls.
