Recommends it for: Fans of erotic romantic suspense
Wow. Wow. What an awesome romantic suspense. Probably one of the best books I've read all year. Tons of action, loads of suspense, disgusting villains, a kick-a** heroine, an alpha hero, electric passion between the H/H, snappy dialogue, great character development, and a nail-biting conclusion--what's not to love? This book is in dire need of a really good edit. There were events that made no sense in context with the rest of the book. I felt more than once that I had skipped several pages. Adding to my disatisfaction with the book, the hero and heroine were both sometimes very unlikeable. I emailed Siren about not giving a warning that this book was previously published by Loose Id as Devil Take Me (which I'd already bought back in '05) and they gave me a substitute title.

I recall at the time I read it that it was rather slow-moving and the there wasn't chemistry between the protagonists but Auntee gave it such a glowing review that I'm tempted to give it another try.

Just can't get into her writing style. Too much bickering.
