This is the book that got me into Iris. Its in the middle of a series, and it doesn't even matter, because it's so good. each one of her books can stand alone, but you'll only get the biggest picture of the world her characters live in, if you read them all. Great Writer, Great Book. I fell in love with John Logan and Sean Galen, and am still looking for them both.

This was my first Johansen. I thought it was great! I put myself in the book being a dog lover. Monty is the dream dog.
