I would actually give this book two and a half stars, and I considered giving it three. In my thinking, it truly is one of the best entries in the entire Choose Your Own Nightmare series. A real sense of suspenseful danger seeps throughout this book, with smartly rendered decisions and story paths that always leave me guessing, even after having gone through it several times. This is an excellent gamebook that I would highly recommend for anyone seeking an exciting Halloween themed adventure.
