(Originally written for Anime on DVD.com)

Alice, Kyo and their merry band of Lotis Masters head into the deepest parts of Mayura's heart to try and save her in the next to last volume of Alice 19th.

If you're a Frey fan, this is the book for you as his past is completely revealed throughout the second half of the book. His is a bit more touching that most and the artwork that accompanies it is rather haunting. Out of all the characters, he's grown to be a favorite of mine even though he does fall...more

The best of the series so far. The plot lines are coming together to set up the series finale.

Alice in Wonderland basis, very girly, totally middle school drama. Great for my school library.

Final Rating closer to 3-1/2 stars

The final battle begins, and, surprisingly, the most pivotal parts revolve around Frey and his past. I like seeing the past stories of the characters; it's an interesting device to reveal what's important to the plot. I still have no real understanding of the Lotis words, or the Maram words. Sometimes it almost feels like a video game in that respect -- use this word to get this attack.

Rather corny in parts, it's still a good read. The end of the series is somewhat disappointing.
