Loved this book - started reading the short version in Asimov's in 89, then bought the book. Finally got around to reading the second book this year. Silverberg's descriptive talent is unparalleled.
I usually prefer more action oriented books but Silverberg is so insightful into the human psyche I cannot help but read him.

I really enjoyed this story of time beyond time.. I would recommend it.
