In book 2 of Category: Freaks, Asagi and his friends fight against the most dangerous Freak yet: a freak that gives humans flesh dolls, who are emotion-less freaks that don't attack, creating more freaks. The more that are born, the more humans are dying because since they bought them, a new kind of freaks comes. Recommends it for: Lovers of Demon stories.
The art is the first draw of the book. It maintains this particular artists usual delicate style with a slightly more chiaroscuro shading using mainly blacks and whites and very little grays or patterns.

It has a very gothic appeal with the various costumes the girls in the manga wear and will appeal to both men and women.

The story line is intriguing starting with the main characters: Nanami Asagi the stand, Tokiko a rabbit girl who smells Freaks, and Amano Naoki the apperant gofer.

Dangerously close to shota which is really not my cup of tea. Also, it does feel... perverted, the way the dolls were born, the way their owners tortured them... The stories are creepy and still rather interesting but I do hope that the author will dial down the perversity. It's squicking me out!
