I loved this book. I really did. I like the love story that she creates with these really strong characters in Bree and Tom. I like the small-town-in-Vermont feel, with a local diner and snowstorms and everybody knowing everyone. I even liked the surprise twist when the reader finds out who Bree's mother is. But I really wish the ending had been different. If it was my book, I would have written it differently. It added so much more emotion that was totally overwhelming for me. I couldn't handle...more

I liked this book so much that I read several others by the same author, hoping to find more good ones, but have been disappointed in the others so far.It was a good story, plot not too complicated, somewhat sad ending but didn't leave me feeling depressed.

The premise of the story was two lonely people who fate threw together...and one of who has been granted 3 wishes. Will the wishes come true? Will there be a happy ending for these love-birds?
I won't spoil the ending for you, but I will say: you'll either hate it or be ambiguous towards it. However, I can always appreciate it when an author takes a chance. And this book did that, I truly enjoyed the story & the characters.

This book had a great premise- a girl dies and comes back to life thinking she may have been granted three wishes. It's a fun quick read but the end was just not quite as satisfying as I had hoped. I did love the ambiguity of her answers to prayer but would have there were so many scenes that were very good, that could have been awesome.

For a quick, fun afternoon, it was good.

I loved this book and couldn't put it down.

Following an accident, Bree awakens in a hospital room remembering being drawn to a very bright light and a benevolent being granting her three wishes.

Tom, the driver of the car that hit Bree and who also has a past he's trying to make right, spends time helping Bree recover.

sugary sweet, so you have to be in the mood and I have to say I did see the end coming, but overall it was a decent quick read.
