I got this book as a gift from one of my coworkers/friends who finds my dating stories amusing. The book is equally amusing and short, but not for the faint of heart or easily offended. I found myself laughing more than once, as well as finding some disturbing similarities between the profiles and some of my more unusual dates.

p. 105: How to tell if your boyfriend is agoraphobic? Who could forget the guy who couldn't leave his car to meet me in the bookstore?

Some of these pages were funnier than others. Each page gives you a type of bad boyfriend and then clues to see whether yours is that type. Then it gives you advice on whether he's a keeper or whether you should get rid of him.

Great book. Very, very funny. You've read the checklist and have determined your boyfriend to be the anticrist, twins, or a crossdresser. Now, should you break up with him?
Meaghan
Meh. Not funny. Pretty much a waste of time. But perhaps I'm just not the target audience.

A sarcastic, fast read..some of the 'chapters' are a bit over the top, but pretty funny anyway...
Jimmie

Eh, okay, it is pretty stupid. Not a self-help book, though it sounds like one. It has spawned an excellent phenomenon of boys I adore rendering some of the caricatures drawn by this silly little tome: Jasper is the crystal meth boyfriend; Luke the insufferable bore.

So it is worth a laugh if you have a creative bone in your body and a room full of former theatre nerds.

Love it! Hilarious! Good coffee table book. I've read this over and over and laugh every time!

According to this book, my boyfriend is the Antichrist.

Okay, the book had its moments, but it certainly wasn't worth $13. I'm glad I had a gift certificate.
