Another great mystery novel i have read this year. by creating an evil protagonist, it makes it hard for the reader to decide on who to root for in the epic battle over Joe's treasure. Parker and Younger both have evil intentions but only one of them could win and one has to win so it creates turmoil within the reader themselves. This novel also reveals that many criminals live in their own world like Parker where they believe they are the best at their profession and that there is no place for ...more

Mystery/Crime fans of any sort
The Jugger is the first Parker novel I've read. It was a great introduction and I'm looking forward to reading some of Stark's more recent Parker stories. It's a quick and fun read if you need to kill some time.
