I would give this 6 stars if possible. Stanford's work is a tour de force of the Christian faith. Using the promises of the Bible, Stanford systematically shows the believer what squi's position in Christ is and what that means in the everyday walk with the Lord. The truths in this book are foundational, transformational, and empowering.

The first book of basic I doctrine I read as a young Christian. I am not sure of how the theology in it would wear with me today, but as a young Evangelical I found the clear, precise presentation Stanford provides here to be both substantive and accessible.
