This was one of my least favorite mother/daughter book club books. Overly repetitive, campy, superficial treatment of slavery -- however -- the girls loved it! I'm always shocked at how wrong I can be when judging their opinion. Full review at www.gerberadaisydiaries.com

War of 1812, Washington D.C., told from the point of view of a slave girl. Good, but not my favorite of Robinet's books.
