Won this book as part of a Summer Library Reading program. You read a book, you got a point. You got so many points you got a raffle ticket. I think I had three or four tickets in the fishbowl. Was the second or third kid pulled out of the fishbowl. Had my choice of prizes and, well, here we are now, talking about it.

This continues the adventures of Bunnicula, except Bunnicula isn't in it. Our heroes, Harold and Chester, are sent to a boarding house that's spooky and they end up solving a Scooby Doo-type mystery. It's good, but I remember not liking it as much without my favorite bunny.

This one was a little harder for the kids to follow along with, they had to mentally keep track of everyone's name and character and who they were in the story. I tried to add some voices and accents to keep their interest. I really am terrible at a french accent!

This is my favorite out of all the Bunnicula books. I loved the setting of the story which was in a animal hotel. I thought all the animals were funny. I liked the mystery, when one of the dogs disappears, that the author put in like a second story.

The absence of bunnicula from this was a disappointment.

The story centers around Chester and Harolds trip to a kennel while the family is away on vacation.

Bunnicula is staying with friends of the family. No vegetable sucking to be had.

The sequal to Bunnicula, it features the same main characters, the same humor, but it feels as though there is more at stake than the fate of the houshold vegetables. Just as good if not a little bit better than the first book.

I can't believe we collectively remembered this book. It actually wasn't very good, if I recall. So why did I remember the author's name 13 years later?

This is a favorite from my childhood! I read this in the third grade and fell in love with the humor. Good fun read for kids and adults.

The book was a lot of fun but difficult to keep track of all the different characters. Not as good as Bunnicula but still a fun read.

Loved this as much as I enjoyed the Bunnicula series when I was a kid! I'm so glad that Howie the Dog decided to write another one.

The follow-up to Bunnicula, and even funnier (with wackier characters) If you like dogs and cats, these books will crack you up!

This series was my favorite set of books when I was a kid. It also made me afraid of bunny rabbits for a time.

A fantastic book, and possibly the single best book on tape I heard in my entire young life.

I don't remember it being as good as the other two Bunnicula books.
