Pretty good start to a series. The heroine didn't really come to life for me, but I liked it for the Atlantis lore and I want to see where this series goes. I am definitely intrigued with Justice's character. Why do I always fall for the dark and tortured character in every series?

This is a really good series. I still need to get to know the warriors better because not enough has been told about them yet. But we did get to know them a tiny bit more, specially Justice. The plot is terrific though. There were some major cliff hangers and now I'm dying to know what's going to happen. The romance is good, not of the best I have seen in this genre but good. There was even a slow part there in the middle, but very short, I got through it very fast.

Atlantis Rising introduced me to a colorful cast of characters and it was evident in the very first pages of Atlantis Awakening that I was going to be in for an incredible ride as the story arc continues. My first thought as I closed this novel was that it isn’t often that I encounter a story that just about appeals to every desire I have as a paranormal reader. Brilliant. I can't believe this series is this author's first publishings. She definitely has talent. This book is Ven and Erin's adventure. Ven has an aversion to witches (which Erin is) but admittedly that doesn't last long once he sees Erin. Erin has an agenda of her own and fears an involvement with Ven alters her focus (which it does). I'm kind of embarassed because I thought this was book 2 in the series but I guess it is book 3. That disturbs me! I'll have to go back and find 2 and then go onto 4. I have enjoyed the idea that, after finding our "king" a gal, each subsequent novel gives his "warriors" a chance to tell their story. Kind of a cool way to approach it.

I give her serious props for writing about Atlantean warriors battling vampires and all kinds of things that sound 100% ridiculous when I try to explain... I'm glad I decided to reread this book to refresh my memory of this series. I'd forgotten what a great story it is. Other than a couple of love scenes at really inappropriate moments (we have to hurry to save everyone but love me first!) the story flowed well.

read two others in this series and liked them just fine, but this one was so cheesy! There's a scene not too far into the book where I actually said out loud "oh, come on!" I may try some of the others, though, because I really liked book 6, Atlantis Betrayed.

This book was even better than the first volume and the short story.
For one I loved the characters. Van and Erin just were gorgeous! I also like all the other warriors. :D
I also like this side story in every book with Alaric and Quinn....here it was pretty nice. I really hope they'll get their happy end story....if not it would be totally sad!!

A definite step up from the first in the series, while keeping me interested for the future stories. I enjoyed both of the main characters, Ven being a favorite from the first book, and he got a worthy and deserving heroine. Good story and plotting, nice romance, and good action made me quite happy with this one.
