This was my introduction to Raymond and Dorothy Moore and their perspectives on the education of children. Again it is a great reference book for me. they say things like"Imparting formal academic skills and content, however important, is only a small part of teaching." new to me....or even better...."Teaching is giving your child time to respond to you.Recent university studies verify that the best teachers wait longer for answers to their questions than do inferior teachers.....If a question i ...more
