Guilty as charged for enjoying.
The writing really could have been better, but for a game to book transition, it wasn't too bad. It has its own separate story, which is also nice, since it can't change anything canon for you.
I love Dante's invincible-and-yet-not personality. His fun/stupid jokes even when he's stressed, or not, really make the book. Cool climatic scene, too.
Yes, this was a little crappy, but I still liked it.
