This book is one I can totally relate to. Favorite quote: Keep it autistic! Her story is similar to mine in raising a son with autism, except she has two, and I only have one. The story stalled out so many times though...here's what I think. She makes some very fine points, but the writing is torture to wade through. She jumps back and forth in time and leaves out minor details that would make it so much easier to understand. It's like reading a whole bunch of sophmore five paragraph themes More...

I haven't actually read it, nor do I plan to at this time. I debated deleting it completely but if someone is lurking and sees the autism shelf... Atleast there will be a list of reading options available.
