Recommends it for: very few people
This book was very interesting.. I learned new things that I never even heard of.
An excerpt from the book:
"After his death in 1892, Poet Walt Whitman's brain was kept in a jar at the Wistar Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, which once housed more than 200 brains. But a number of years ago, a laboratory worker dropped Whitman's brain on the floor, and it had to be thrown away."
Very interesting and creepy...
I don't really recommend it unless you're a fan of "weird, but true" stuff.. H

This book is described as a "cartoon encyclopedia of incredibly strange things". This book would be a big hit with older students (the vocabulary is a little older)! Everything in the book is true, making the students interested in these fun little facts that they can share with their friends.
