I didn't enjoy this book as much as Dorothea, the first book I read by this author. This story is very well written and exciting in places but it was also a little confusing. Somehow these ghosts or spirits make appearances and just as quickly disappear and I didn't understand the meaning of it or deduce their purpose. This was not a science fiction or mystery novel. I was kind of lost on their purpose and felt I was missing something. Perhaps I'll have to read it again.
