I ardently love the format of this book, which is much more engaging than a typical career volume. It's full of stories, tips, and other helps in addition to job descriptions. It seems to be a complete survey of the field of culinary jobs, with everything from coffee taster to sous chef. I'll admit I didn't read it cover to cover (focusing mainly on food writing, a job of interest for me), but I liked what I saw paging through it.

A very insightful book, but I have a feeling most readers aren't looking to become a hot dog vendor. This really could have been "100 Food Jobs."
