Many book people agree that the Kelmscott Chaucer is the most beautiful printed book in existence. I completely agree. Working in books for so many years, I'm lucky to have had my hands on one twice. Every letter, every border and every illustration is laid out for maximum beauty on the page. It is almost hard to read the text because it's so gorgeous. This is a decent reprint of some of the finer work from the Kelmscott Press.
