Equal parts ethnography, memoir and travelogue, DANCING GIRL shows Thordis Simonsen building a home in Elika, Greece, and exposing its inhabitants' life stories the way many of us walk across a swift creek: slow, watchful, careful. And in the end, joyous for the accomplishment.
