Non-Fiction. A look at hand gestures, sexual signals, palmistry, hands in healing, handshakes, handedness. Also some other stuff that is only tangentially related to hands. I first read this book in 1996 and now, upon rereading it, I realize I only remembered the first two chapters. There's a reason for this.

The first two chapters are the best part of this book. One is on handedness, and the other on hand gestures, i.e. one man's "OK" is another's "go fuck yourself." The chapter on gestures was
