This is a very interesting, but troubling play. Mitchell explores some of the inner workings of the Royal Ulster Constabulary, the Northern Irish police force. Of course, the RUC have pretty much never had an easy job, dealing with groups of terrorists fighting one another, fighting the police, and fighting the British military throughout the Troubles, and of course the declaration of peace did not sit easily with many in Norn Iron.
