i am giving this 3 stars only because i really liked some of the pictures and many of the designs. however, i was constantly distracted by HORRENDOUS typos (including about 200 instances of "site lines"-- i mean, hello?? lines of perspective? maybe related to seeing?) and it's and its both used as possessive-- on the same page!!

This is a book about colors and changes you can make to your home to make it feel larger, warmer, etc.
Some of the things discussed I knew already but other were ideas that were new to me.
Can't say that I'll put most of them to good use though.
Liked how the book was laid out chapter wise but thought that not all discussions had photos/pictures but sounded like they did and that you could see them.

So many great ideas small and large for all types of homes. This guy is from one of the HGTV shows. I didn't know him from the show (which is weird as i thought i knew ALL of them..) but some solid stuff in here. I picked up from library and didn't feel need to buy it but was great to look through which I did 4 or 5 times. What do you want from a shelter mag junkie?
