This is the finest piece of work on Lurianic Kabbalah. What makes this book stand out is how well it is written. Unlike many academic tomes that are written intentionally in a cryptic jargon and unlike some works on the subject that are intentionally vague in order to preserve the hidden secrets of Kabbalah, this book is extremely clear and is intelligible by anyone who has a basic background in Jewish Mysticism. This is a well documented book and very comprehensive. I know there are a lot of people who are interested in kabbalah from a point of view of wanting to do it, I just wanted to learn about how it fits into the universe of Judaism. This is a great book for that purpose.
Read most of it for Kabbalah Class but would really like to finish the last few chapters before I make it "read".
