Listy compendium of Brazilian works and music. Book suffers from the perennial problem of books written to "introduce" a subject; author's struggle with the outer boundaries of the introduction process is apparent. Unless your opinion's match author's exactly, you will feel your fave raves get short shrift between these covers and guys you ain't care about get way too much play.
